A pre-qualification letter is required when the purchaser(s) are applying for a loan to purchase a HUD owned property. This letter is valid for 30 days and must be on the lender's original letterhead with original signatures. "Fill in the Blank" letters are not acceptable. The letter must not be altered in any way.
